Education

Every child has a right to education, but not every child enjoys the right. Children leave school for a variety of reasons citing poverty, long distance to school, early pregnancies. We are working with primary schools in the Traditional Authority Somba and Kapeni to strengthen community response in keeping rural poor and disabled girls safe in schools. The main idea of the project is to increase rural poor girls and disables girls school enrolment and retention in the targeted schools by 60 percent.  The project has also the component of the construction of changerooms for secondary school and procurement of school uniform for the needy students as motivation
