Blantyre as one of the cities with a high population of street children, we are working to create sustainable livelihood for street children in the city of Blantyre through executing their rights to education, survival and development. We trace extended families of street children and reintegrate them and enrol them to schools while those who are older, we enrol them to vocational schools for skills development. Our organisation also provide access to Psychosocial support and counselling; street connected children often at times face issues of mental health depression and anxiety as a result of their experience in the street they even also join gangs to survive, we do provide counselling and therapy sessions to address trauma, build resilience and enhance self esteem.
