Clean water is vital for healthy population. We are rehabilitating water boreholes in Primary schools – With Funding from Luena Foundation we are implementing water and Sanitation project in schools around Traditional Authority Somba in Blantyre District. The main aim of the project is to provide clean water to school going children and the surrounding community. We have rehabilitated 13 boreholes in the Traditional Authority Somba and Traditional Authority Kapeni. Water is life, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)6 focuses on ensuring access to clean water and Sanitation. The project involves repairing all broken boreholes which were not working. The project has helped the schools to have clean water at the same time reduce water bone diseases in the area.
